Pierre and the entire staff were so welcoming and helpful when I arrived and throughout my stay in New Orleans. The room was extremely clean And the bedding was super comfortable. The enclosed courtyard with pool was a little relaxing oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. Parking was very easy and right across the street. I will definitely be back. What a gem!

The hotel’s location is a standout feature—perfectly situated just steps from the lively energy of Bourbon Street, yet tucked away enough to avoid the noise and bustle, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. This boutique hotel exudes charm, with character-filled rooms that capture the essence of New Orleans’ historic vibe. The decor is quirky and stylish, adding a unique touch to the stay. Each room felt cozy and well-maintained, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. One downside is the pool, which is small and nestled deep within the hotel’s courtyard, meaning it gets limited direct sunlight. If you’re dreaming of lounging by the pool to soak up the Louisiana heat, this might not be the ideal spot for you. However, it’s still a nice feature for a quick dip to cool off. Another minor inconvenience was the lack of in-room fridges. You’ll need to request one from the front desk, which could be a hassle if you’re planning to store snacks or drinks. The staff, though, were accommodating and quick to assist with this. All in all, Hotel Le Marais offers a lovely stay for those seeking a boutique experience in the heart of the French Quarter. Its prime location, charming rooms, and intimate vibe make it a great choice for travelers who value character over sprawling amenities. I’d recommend it for a weekend escape, especially if you’re exploring the city’s nightlife and culture. Just don’t expect a sun-drenched pool day!

Our stay here was awesome! The perfect location! A side street off of bourbon but a very short walk and it was party time! Definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Hotel Le Marais the weekend before Fat Tuesday in 2025 and could not have had a better experience. Anytime we entered the lobby we were greeted by one of their excellent staff. If we asked for a recommendation they were quick to offer suggestions. We would mostly stay here again!

My husband and I stayed December 19th - 23rd. The hospitality was by far the best we've ever experienced. Hotel Le Marais made our first trip to New Orleans a special one. The front desk staff, location and housekeeping were amazing. We cannot wait to come back and stay.

Location is right in the thick of the French Quarter! While it could get loud, our room was quiet enough to easily sleep yet still feel like we were in a vivacious city. The room was wonderful and the staff even better. Highly recommend if you're interested in a location that can't be beat.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. The housekeeping crew is always on top of things. We have a room with a little mini balcony. We love it. The price is reasonable. And it's it's a very central location. Will definitely come back.

First impressions are huge for me. The manager Pierre’s energy and welcoming personality honestly set the tone. Highly informative of places to visit and things to do. Engaging with everyone with the same energy and passion. I can honestly say that when he was off for the two days, it really wasn’t the same. I appreciate a person who understands what it takes in the hospitality industry to make guests feel comfortable and right at home. The staff can really take a few notes from Pierre.

Sonja Frank just helped us resolve a booking complication that could have been VERY costly for us. She was incredibly understanding, efficient, and courteous. I hope management reads this review because, IMO, Sonja is the type of employee they should retain and promote. She was so good that I would stay at the Le Marais for no other reason than how she treated us. Thank you Sonja!
